Brault was appointed by the Chief Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals to be the Chairman of the Organization Committee that created The District of Columbia Bar Association, and received the lawyer of the year award from the DC Bar Association in 1972-73. Albert D. Brault was a recipient of the first Professionalism award given by the Montgomery County Bar Association and the prestigious Vernon Eney Award given by the Maryland State Bar Association to the top trial lawyer in the State. Several of the firm’s lawyers have been recognized as top lawyers in the Maryland Super Lawyers, D.C.
